Stepping into the spotlight at Forbes on Fifth in New York City on September 11th, the 2024 Semifinalist Event features 25 semifinalists – true craft experts – sparking purposeful and thought-provoking conversations around cutting-edge education innovations. They share a transformative wealth of knowledge, highlighting the impact they have on shaping student learning experiences nationwide. Through engaging discussions encompassing diverse and timely topics, these semifinalists contribute to a dynamic and informed dialogue, propelling the evolution and improvement of educational practices.

Freedom Tower Event

The Yass Prize, in partnership with The Center for Education Reform (CER) and Forbes announced the 2024 Yass Prize $1 million winner and four finalists that make up the final cohort of the pathbreaking initiative. Together, with the 20 Semifinalists which are each receiving a $200,000 STOP Award, the awardees will receive a total of $7 million. Primer Microschools, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was named the fourth and final recipient of the $1 million Yass Prize during a New York City gathering of the nation’s most innovative education leaders.
