For more than 45 years, the DePaul School of Northeast Florida has helped students with dyslexia become confident readers and learners through evidence-based Orton-Gillingham instruction. Its impact now extends well beyond the Jacksonville campus through the Florida Dyslexia Literacy Center, which trains educators, supports families and expands access to proven reading instruction. Teacher training has grown significantly, while tutoring and additional instructional space create new ways to reach students who need specialized support. DePaul shows how a school with deep expertise can multiply its impact by equipping both children and the adults who teach them.
