Founded in Detroit by NBA All-Star Jalen Rose, Jalen Rose Leadership Academy is a tuition-free public charter high school built around a relationship-driven path from high school to college, career and adulthood. The school emphasizes persistence, attendance, advising and real opportunities beyond the classroom, while continuing to expand what students can access after graduation. A donated 70,000-square-foot facility is undergoing a major renovation that will create substantial new capacity and space for future growth. JRLA’s promise is straightforward: students should leave high school not only with a diploma, but with a durable pathway forward.
