Orangeburg High School for Health Professions is building a rural talent pipeline by preparing students for healthcare and other high-demand careers before they leave high school. Students combine rigorous academics with dual enrollment, industry credentials, simulation and hands-on career training. The school reports a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance, with 235 students participating in dual enrollment and 28 completing high school with an associate degree. A new 30,000-square-foot facility gives this tuition-free public charter school an even larger platform to connect young people with the skills and opportunities their community needs.
